Chibi Betty Bliss

30 Jul

Hello every one, my name is Chibi Betty Bliss, Chibi Sen’s mom!

I currently work with children as a teacher in a children’s center. I have dedicated and devoted 15 years of my life to pursue my desire of inspiring this generations youth.

My passion is to continue teaching children creatively. My greatest joy is helping people, and bringing happiness to everyone around me, especially children.

Chibi Sen has passionately been sharing her artistic talents and inspired me to share my own artistic skills! I began writing a children’s book with my daughter and I love her interpretation of my stories, which is clearly shown through her illustrations. Sen’s energetic personality also motivated me to share more of my artistic side.

I had the opportunity to perform for my niece child’s first birthday party, which made me see myself in action, and I loved the smiles I brought to everyone. I really enjoy performing hand puppet shows, facing painting and planning fun musical games. This great experience gave me the motivation to share my blissfulness for everyone!

I am promoting my services to help my daughters business prosper artistically.

My art specializes in

  • Creative dance
  • Abstract painting
  • Writing
  •  Poetry
  • Storytelling and
  • Teaching

I am posting a video as a sample of what I do.

Please let us know when you would like for us to make your party blissful and memorable

Thank you for taking the time to read this fantastic grand news.

The Flock Shop and Renegade Craft Fair

29 Jul

Yesterday I went with my mom to check out the Flock shop and the Renegade Craft Fair In Los Angeles! There were over 100 different artists so there was a lot of really amazing stuff everywhere! From soaps, to bags, magnets, and plants it was eye candy galore! I finally got to meet the shop owners of the flock shop! It turns out that they plan to close up shop in January! She told me not to be sad about it but I still feel like I wish the economy was doing better!

Opening a business is tough right now and many artists are just traveling around selling their art at craft fair all around the world. Others stay local and only go to fairs every couple months. I’m not sure what approach we are going to take, but participating in the renegade craft fair in Los Angeles is definitely something I’m looking into! Apparently it’s an annual thing so we have to wait until next year to apply! But for all those who are also interested heres info I got from their site for this years prices for future refrences:

Applications for LA’s 2012 event run from April 2 – April 27.

We are happy to offer a variety of pricing options for vendors:

For a $400 booth fee, vendors can apply for a 10×10 booth.

For a $200 booth fee, vendors can apply to be paired up with another vendor by the Renegade Gang for a shared 10×10 booth.  We will curate 10×10 booth pairings from our pool of accepted shared booth applicants. We will not accept requests for shared booth partners – vendors wishing to share a booth with a specific business should apply with one application, paying the full $400 booth fee.

For a $200 booth fee, vendors can also apply to sell their wares from a roving cart, bicycle, or wagon, in lieu of setting up shop in a traditional 10×10 booth.

You must submit an online application, and a $400, or $200 booth fee via PayPal by midnight on April 27 in order to be considered for a spot in the fair.

http://www.youtube.com/user/chibisenvlogs?feature=guide

I wanted to separate my vlogs from my art videos! I know it may be a bit much handling 2 youtube pages, but honestly I think I can handle it!

I did a whole vlog about the Venice Beach Issue and more today! It turned out to be the longest vlog I ever made because I started talking about other stuff in the end! I hope it isn’t too out there but there are some things, like the future of humanity, that are really important to me. Everything I am doing with my business is intertwined with the global revolution and humanities evolution!

I felt pretty stressed out this morning,  but after updating all my sites I feel a lot better!

I wanted to announce that all the prices on our online shop are a lot cheaper than our etsy store for a limited time! Since we aren’t charged any fees like on etsy, we decided to celebrate with lowering the prices for you all! If you want a special Deal check out our Up and Coming Website!

How to Stay Motivated

26 Jul

Being motivated to pursue your passions is dependent on many factors. Depression, stress, and insecurities can easily get in the way of your ability to maintain focus. However, when your having one of those kind of days where you just don’t want to go on anymore, just remember that there are literally an infinite amount of reasons that let to the moment you are in right now.

  • Accept where you are
  • Be grateful for what you have accomplished
  • Be patient and don’t forget about those who are supporting you
  • Loose yourself in your passions as much as you can
  • Tackle your to do list! (Sometimes we forget that the stress from procrastination can be cured by not procrastinating!)
  •  Remember that every bad moment in life always leads to a good one eventually!

Image

Occupying your mind with expanding your opportunities and being productive is a huge positive distraction from all the hardships of life. The more frequently you get to enjoy the rewards of your creations, the more energy you will get to keep creating.  This means finishing what you start as often as you can!

But learn to balance this so that you are only creating what you truly love! Try not rush yourself if your going to compromise your ideal vision! Its about patience and persistence, not quickness and compromise.

Image

Of course your physical health also plays an important part in this. You can’t spend time doing what you love if your too sick to get out of bed! Eat good food, stay hydrated, and get enough sleep! I can say from personal experience, not having enough energy because I’m not eating right hinders my productivity.  You have to fuel your body and keep your self healthy! Bring on the power shakes!

What To Do When Your Depressed

25 Jul

So today I was overwhelmed with all the things I have to do, also the fact that my business isn’t fully established yet.

Starting a business is certainly one of the most challenging, and rewarding things I have ever attempted. One thing is for sure, you really do need money to start a business. Right now I’m a bit low on funds and due to this I’m missing out on a lot of opportunities! However I still have enough to afford a spot at places like Venice Beach!

I feel its important for people to not get too distressed when things aren’t “perfect”. Not only do you waste time creating a bunch of pointless things to occupy your mind with, you also loose motivation. One of the keys to success is definitely staying motivated. It really is up to you to maintain that passion.

I will say this, being around others to cheer you up when your down is one of the best ways to remind yourself of your value.

Honesty I get stressed when I’m not spending more than half of my day being productive. The hard part is balancing housework, cooking, chores, school, paying bills, and growing my business. This is why I do my best to keep track of how many hours I spend doing each. I know it seems insane to keep track of everything you do, but it helps you to analyze your habits, and if your like me, it helps you not feel guilty about taking some time to rest.

I obtained this advice from a book I read about how to successfully manage a small business. It really is one of the things I learned about that does make a difference in how I am able to organize my time.

Right now I’m on a journey to reaching a set goal I have made for myself. I honestly want to become a millionaire in order to achieve economic freedom. I plan to do this by sharing my talents and what I love with the world. After I accomplish this I want to help others who seek to free themselves and become financially independent.

I love humanity, and I want to do everything in my power to free people from the stress of not being able to have what you need to live. There are so many struggling to survive in this world, and I will do everything I can to bring this number down.

Everything I am doing isn’t just to reach that goal, but its to learn, enjoy, and experience as much as I can a long the way so in the end I can help others who have chose a path similar to mine, and seek wisdom.

This is why I document everything that I’m going through, and once I have finally reached my goal then I’m looking forward to meeting others who are just starting out.  So far its been a crazy journey. Its tough, its hard, its stressful, and its not always perfect, but the happiness, experiences, opportunities, and connections are so grand that all the small negative things are always, in the end, an important story to tell someone about.

Since life is never 100% smooth sailing I have compiled a list of remedies for those days

  • Look at Funny Videos
  • Chat with Friends
  • Finish as Many Things as You Can on Your To Do List
  • Spend Quality Time with Your pets (a cat’s purr is therapeutic)
  • Take a Shower
  • Sit Outside Barefoot (It’s important to connect with the earths energy ppl!)
  • Write/Blog  (definitely helps, and is productive for many reasons)
  • VLog (video logs can help unload stress)
  • Eat Delicious Food!
  • Hug Someone You Love
  • Smile

And Trust that for an Infinite amount of reasons you are where you are supposed to be right now! If you focus on your goal a little bit everyday you will always find yourself getting one step closer. So relax and don’t worry becuase everything in the end will work out! Until then enjoy the music and dance your heart out!

WordPress Vs. Blogger

24 Jul

So here I am faced with another dillema! Lately I’ve been having a lot of trouble with wordpress! For one thing, I can’t always embedd my youtube videos into my blog posts! It works sometimes and other days it just doesn’t. I have no idea what the problem is, and have been too busy to research it.

I previously had an account on blogspot so when I heard about blogger I wasn’t sure if it was the same thing , but apparently it is. Seriously as I’m writing this wordpress is glitching out! I don’t know what to do becuase I love wordpress’s page set up! I like the different tabs and pages you can set up, but I’m not too sure if blogger has upgraded since I’ve last been on it.

On another note I seriously have to write down a list of events and places we are looking into. I just found out about

  • The Orange Country fair
  • 626 Night market
  • and The Flock Shop!

Really I need to sit down and research all the possible events that we can attend and make a schedule! We are a bit low on funds for our business right now but once we get things good again we are more than ready to start this!

Lastly I did another sketch today for Alexxis!! I will be posting the video tomorrow once we add music for it! It was a nightmare before Christmas request! I had a good time with it, although I did accidentally press pause in the middle of the work in progress video (so sorry) ! I love nightmare before Christmas and a lot of my drawings have been inspired from that movie.

This particular version of zero I drew was from a dream I had once. It was crazy but I woke up and drew it so I wouldn’t forget!

Prize Sent To Our Contest Winner

21 Jul

Congratulations to our Costume Contest Winner Ashley !

Your costume was adorable!!! All the work you put into it really paid off! I did a special video for you and your free piggy bank that is the first with an interchangeable bag!

We had a blast at the Anime Expo this year and one of the best parts was definitely all the Cosplayers! We had 2 costume contests, which were both very fun!

watch?v=TL2Sg1Z1sCY&list=UUVYrMjRDnr5KKOpCprRL1CA&index=1&feature=plcp

Our booth was full of prizes, presents, give away’s and more! Honestly making people happy is always a good time so we really made lots of new friendships with a lot of the people who stopped by our booth. It was our first year as exhibitors and the whole experience was extremely fun. Even though it was pretty tiring it was so amazing getting the chance to meet so many cool people. You guys really did make the whole trip more than worth it!

On a side note: I know I haven’t been posted regularly like I normally do but that’s becuase I’ve been working on this secrete project! I basically had to draw over 30 sketches in a week! It was intense but well worth it.

August 2nd is the big day that I will be posting all my work to the public! I’m extremely excited and anxious to show you all! The scope of this project hasn’t fully sunk in yet.

Finally I will be back online with my daily postings now, so I’m happy to start chatting with you all again ! I had to put all my projects on hold for a bit due to the deadlines I had to meet, but I am practically all done now!!!

Celebration time!<3
