Street Fighters 25th Anniversary!

In Celebration of street Fighters 25th Anniversary I will be releasing all my Street Fighter art work everyday for 2 weeks! YAY For Street Fighter!I remember growing up Marvel v.s. Capcom was where I first got introduced to the street fighter characters. Honestly Marvel Vs Capcom was one of my all time favorite games when I was younger! I was addicted ! The carefree times of childhood were the best!

Yes I drew Everything using the best drawing app I have ever found for the Ipad!

Its called sketch club for all you other up and coming artists! It only cost around 3 dollars but it really is worth it! I recorded the whole work in progress with sketch club and edited it with the imovie app. Imovie is actually the best video editing app I have encountered on the Ipad! It almost has all the same features as Windows Movie Maker!

On to another Announcements! I will continue to add new pinata piggy banks to our etsy store! I still have around 10 that need to have their pictures taken ! You can get a sneak peek in the vlog ! =^-^=

Finished Doll Head Project Part 1

So I started off attempting to make the doll head with fabric but I decided to change my strategy and use polymer clay instead.

The block I had was a bit hard since its about a month old now.  I ended up having to break it up and roll it out flat to make it a lot easier to mold and shape.

I made a small head shape with clay that never harden called Clay toons , you can find it at any Michaels.It was a practice run and didn’t come out as nice as the final version

One technique that I kept the same from the fabric doll head is how to make the nose.

Making the nose was the funnest part. I made a indentation in the middle of the head and put a pointy ball where I wanted the nose.

Then the fun part was making a thin sheet of clay with my rolling machine and putting it over the face like skin.

I stretched it over the whole face and attached the head to the body I’m working with which I also purchased at Michaels.

The last step was fixing the neck. When I’m done with this I have to work on her legs and arms  then she’ll be all ready for the mold!!

So far so good. I love how her face came out but I still need to do some touch ups. Her head is exaggerated in size because I plan for my characters to be very anime styled.

Even though I didn’t get to finish this one today I did finish making the master for the future key chain molds. When I say master I mean the final sculpture I’ll be using for the mold.

When I first made his key chain character I accidentally used non hardening clay which can’t be used for mold making unless you by casting, and resin. It cost a lot so I
just did another one out of polymer clay because it hardens after baking it and it able to gets made into a mold faster and easier.

He came out really cute!!! For close ups you can see more in my Vlog for today.

Day 22 Piñata Coin Banks Transformed to Drawings

So I just finished another concept design for the new kitty coin banks I’m going to be doing. I know I have a lot of pictures to still upload! I desperately need to invest in a good camera! I wonder how much they cost? I guess until them I’ll just have to use my iPad until then. Here’s the new sketches final pic!

 

 

Day 12 Drilling Holes, Adagio and Home Movies

So today I :

• drilled a bunch of holes into more piggy banks,
• mopped my loving room floor and kitchen extra clean,
• washed a sink full of dishes, swept several times,
•  cleaned up the mess of drilling all the holes,
• Cooked,
• Registered for classes
• Sent an Email to the Anime Expo
• started cutting,and organizing all the tissue paper I have so I can prepare to dress a lot at once.
• and made a vlog of one of my favorite scenes of all time

It was a pretty productive day but I’m far from finished T T

I had to stop drilling the holes because I had to charge my drill some more but I’m more than half ways done. I also have to continue cutting a whole bunch of paper. I bought this fishing box thing from Wall-Mart that I’m using because it has all these compartments. Honestly cutting the paper can be so time consuming so I just want to have the paper pre cut for at least a hundred. So far so good. I’ll show you a pic of how I organized it all but for me the more organized the better! I can’t stand leaving my work space a mess.

But anyways when I get stressed out its definitely a good time to listen to some good music. That’s why I wanted to show you this one song that they used in this one show I like. Its the best.

Day 9 Home Made Glue Tutorial and New Pinata Coin Bank

So Today I was super bummed out because I have all this homework and things on my to do list but I tried my best to get some work done today. First think I did when I woke up was make the video and get ready to leave to school. Its already going to be eleven right now and I didn’t get to finish as many as I wanted to at all! That means that tomorrow I have to do double work but I’m ready.

I was really rushing it with this video because I had to take the bus to school! You wouldn’t believe how crazy that bus ride was! There was this homeless women whose name was Linda that was at my bus stop.  She ended up taking the last of my change because she was really desperate and I was just like awe no! I just let her though because I thought that maybe I would get lucky and the next bus driver would let me on.

Unfortunately it was the 745 bus driver that’s always stingy, last time I paid for someone else to get on the bus because he wouldn’t let her get on. I explained to him what happened and that I was late to school but he was just said sorry and that he cant. So I had to get off the bus in downtown and ask someone for change. Everyone there looked pretty penniless so finding someone was definitely not easy, not only that but by the time I got change I then had to find a bus to get to trade tech!

Hectic day but it was so fun in the end I made it to class 10 minutes late and we got out early so I was finally able to play the piano in the cafeteria. It was the best, but I am really rusty! I need to practice more for sure.

Day 4 of making Piggy Banks for AX

New style piggy bank of a puppy character! Its not all the way done but his ears came out perfect!

Im going to add stitches on him and do furry versions as well.

Im definitely going to put stitches on this green one but he came out really cute!

This yellow one came out extra smooth and clean. I applied the layers of tissue paper differently then the green one.

 

Preview of our first published book

So yes it finally came in mail. I love the quality! Blurb really is so crazy. I got to say laying out the pages using the templates takes awhile to learn. It took me all day to get the pictures right. I messed up three times before finally getting if perfect.

I can’t wait to share this book with my nephews and nieces. They are growing up so fast! Before I know it their going to be teenagers!

The Dream That Made Me Believe in Life After Death

A deep hatred for the world grew in me when my brother died. It was then that I decided the world was an evil place, and there was no god. For many years I lived seeing the world as a completely ugly place with no point. I began drinking, partying, and having no care in the world about my life. However the night of my 10-year-old dog’ death I had a dream that changed me.

When she died I was forced to confront my belief that after you die that’s it. Thoughts such as: there’s no after life, the end is the end, and there’s no more chances to ever be with her again, filled my head. I thought about how she died such a horrible death, and there was nothing I could do about it. I felt miserable, and immersed in a sea of thoughts that further drowned me even deeper into despair and hatred. She accidentally hung herself when my uncle was watching her.

I had often wondered what I was going to feel like when she died because I couldn’t pin point, or measure, how strong my love for her was. You never know how much it’s going to hurt. Imagining the pain is not as horrible as actually going through it. It’s quite ironic because I had never felt like she was my dog; she was originally my cousin’s dog. She was a very high maintenance animal, and I was constantly taking care of her because her skin had allergy’s in the summer. The time I spent with her created a strange bond.

I couldn’t stop crying that day and feeling so guilty that I couldn’t protect her from such a horrible fate. I would get frustrated with her a lot because she always needed something. That day I remember even getting a little mad because she had peed on the floor in my room. When my uncle told me the news I was numb. Then, out of nowhere, an uncontrollable weeping fit that took over me like if I was possessed by the essence of pure sorrow. I went to bed that night with my face freshly wet with tears.

After I finally passed out from exhaustion I only had one dream that night. I was in an empty space and I knew I was dreaming. I was aware of what reality had in store for me when I woke up, but then she came to me. She was alive, happy, and showing me that she was okay. She showing me that she was still alive, but just not in this reality. This dream defied everything I believed in for the past ten years, but I didn’t care because in that moment believing in life after death made me happier than anything ever has.

Life is full of mysteries and I can’t say it better than Esche Jackson in her essay, The Casper in Me, “the force that grabbed me was as invisible as I felt.” Something magical happened to me even though I had always felt so empty, alone, and pointless. This dream showed me that the possibility  does exist. I no longer feel like I’m alone and pointless. There’s this strange force that exists, which I can only say feels like the essence of “gods” love. Without this love, this force, this invisible faith, I would be lost.

Believing she is alive in another reality is just as valid as believing she isn’t so I prefer to believe what gives me the strength to keep on living. I know it sounds crazy but it is what it is.

Wake Initiated Lucid Dream Expirments Journal Entry

I took a nap today when we got home from the beach because I was exhausted and was extremely curious about all the energy I had gotten from walking around on the beach. I fixated my thoughts on how good it felt to lay down.  Pretty much just tripping out on the sensations of relaxation especially when using your mind to amplify it. This is how I begin my experiments with Wake Initiated Lucid Dreams when I have decided to attempt something … idk how to explain it but litterally you can feel(even kinda hear) your mind getting relaxed, its the same kind of feeling you get when you yawn.

First I started by realizing I could see with my eyes closed within minutes of putting my body to sleep. Id say it usually takes about 3 to 4 minutes to do this or even less so when I say its really easy to do it literally is.The time it takes is  key to know when attempting wake initiated lucid dreams aka astro projection. I strongly suggest doing this in the morning when something has woken you up but you decide to keep on sleeping because its really easy to fall back to sleep in the morning when your still tired therefore making astro travel or wake initiated dreams really quick and easy to attempt.

Not only that but doing it in the morning is a lot less scary than doing it at night because its pitch black dark at night and you can easily fall into a nightmare if your afraid of the dark in a that state.All I have to really say is that you have to want to do it instead of just not thinking about anything all lazily, and not caring about keeping focus on your thoughts when you dose off back to sleep.

So I began my experiments about creating energy with my hands. So I started off simple and I feel a huge magnetism force in between where I was focusing energy, just Too much. It got so out of control the light it was emitting was huge , vibrating and expanding. I got scared and it just shocked me with a huge flash of light and hurt my hands T T It felt like a direct hit to the middle of both palms as if i grabbed onto an electric fence but worse.( I had this thought while I was dreaming that being on the beach today charged me with all this energy or something) .

I woke up afterward and went to go tell rob about what happened but then I realized I was dreaming. then I woke up. I decided to continue the experiments  so I had 3 more experiment sessions. I tried again to create energy. I made a object materialize into form through energy I was just playing around with it feeling how dense I had made . it actually felt like a real object and materialized into an objects form .I made some movement and somehow turned the object into water which I thought was astonishing. (somehow this water ability connected with this image of this sky blue water goddess looking person)

I drew that picture on paint so its very simple. I’ll probably redraw it soon. ^_^

So pretty much I woke up and my hands were hurting . I have no idea why but even right now they hurt alot . Tripps me out barbecue my hands don’t just starting for no reason. Idk I haven’t even played the piano recently but they hurt like  they really did get shocked T T idk but its annoying . Mostly my right hand tho.

update: my hands continuously hurt for a whole week after this experiment which was truly some strange phenomenon
